Danny joined the MQB Trackcars team a few weeks after the founding of the group. Danny has knowledge like few do on the MQB platform, and has been active on social media for the last 8 years - providing assistance and advice to other members within the community. During the last 3 years, this Cupra 290 has been modified and built as a subtle but capable track car. Retaining the DCC suspension that was created within the VAG group, this Cupra has had multiple modifications done to it including B16 DCC Coilovers, Upgraded bushes, Bracing, and various other stability modifications.

Power from this high mileage hero is roughly 380bhp and 540nm. Did we mention it’s one of few cars running above 100,000 miles and being heavily modified, tracked and maintained?

Through the multiple services, refresh of parts and adjustments made to this car. Danny has tracked his Cupra throughout the last few years and kept it running almost flawlessly on its stock turbo, engine, injectors and timing. Maybe this might change in the future!
